Le rêve est ce qui avait toujours été là, en lui, berçant son cœur d’une douce présence, et se reflétant dans son regard noir quand un très court instant, il lui semblait qu’un des secrets de l’univers le pénétrait très furtivement pour aussitôt, l’instant d’après, s’évanouir pour toujours parce qu’il lui était encore impossible de l’apprivoiser.

Le rêve est ce qui avait toujours été là, laissant à chaque fois son empreinte de vie et d’espoir. Et chaque nuit, il s’invitait et conversait avec le petit garçon, le transportant dans des mondes imaginaires jusqu’au petit matin où, s’alliant avec les premiers rayons de soleil, il le tiendrait dans un état éveillé durant toute la journée.

The dream is what had always been there, inside him, cradling his heart with a gentle presence, and reflected in his dark eyes when, for a very brief moment, it seemed to him that one of the secrets of the universe was stealthily penetrating him, only to vanish forever the next moment, because it was still impossible for him to tame it.

The dream is what had always been there, each time leaving its mark of life and hope. And every night, it would invite itself in and converse with the little boy, transporting him to imaginary worlds until the early hours of the morning when, allied with the first rays of sunlight, it would keep him awake throughout the day.
