The Stooges sont un groupe de rock américain formé à Ann Arbor, dans le Michigan, en 1967. Le groupe était dirigé par le chanteur charismatique Iggy Pop et était composé de Ron Asheton à la guitare, son frère Scott Asheton à la batterie, Dave Alexander à la basse et plus tard James Williamson à la guitare. Ils ont été pionniers du punk rock et du garage rock, influençant de nombreux groupes ultérieurs.
