L’OBSESSION
Je vois le soleil éblouisseur,
Et ce sont ses yeux.
Je caresse l’ambre de mon chapelet,
Et c’est sa joue.
J’aperçois le cyprès altier,
Et c’est sa taille.
Je respire la rose de Kasvine,
Et c’est son haleine.
J’entends chanter l’eau du kanout,
Et c’est sa voix.
Et si je marche sur une vipère,
C’est encore Elle qui me hante.
Auteur anonyme… in Obsession, ghazels ou ghazal, genre poétique qui connut son apogée aux XIIIe-XIVe siècles et que l’on retrouve également en Inde et en Asie centrale. Les ghazels, formes poétiques chantent l’amour, le racontent qu’il soit charnel ou mystique, adressé à une femme, un homme ou à Dieu.

Anonymous author… in Obsession, ghazels or ghazal, a poetic genre that reached its peak in the 13th-14th centuries and that can also be found in India and Central Asia. The ghazels, poetic forms, sing of love, tell of it whether it is carnal or mystical, addressed to a woman, a man or to God.

C’est étonnant. Je n’arrive pas à me faire une idée. Ça « chante » à mes oreilles d’une façon particulière.

Je comprends bien. C’est aussi le rythme du poème lié à sa structure même en distiques (couple de deux vers) qui rend certainement cette impression.
