CHERCHER LE GARCON

Taxi Girl (1978 – 1986) est un groupe à tendance new wave né du mouvement punk de cette fin des années 70. C’est le titre Cherchez le garçon sorti en 1980 qui rendra le groupe célèbre. Composé de cinq membres au départ en 1978 (Daniel Darc, Mirwais Stass, Laurent Sinclair, Stéphane Erard et Pierre Wolfsohn), le groupe sera endeuillé à la mort du batteur Pierre Wolfsohn d’une overdose de cocaïne le 24 juillet 1981. En 2013, Daniel Darc – chanteur emblématique de Taxi Girl – décédera à son tour.

Taxi Girl (1978 – 1986) is a band with a new wave tendency born from the punk movement of the late 70s. It is the title Cherchez le garçon released in 1980 that made the band famous. Composed of five members at the beginning in 1978 (Daniel Darc, Mirwais Stass, Laurent Sinclair, Stéphane Erard and Pierre Wolfsohn), the group will be mourning the death of drummer Pierre Wolfsohn of a cocaine overdose on July 24, 1981. In 2013, Daniel Darc – emblematic singer of Taxi Girl – will also die.
